PDF Write API
Prepare structured article content for a separately validated document export.
A PDF writing workflow starts with a content model, not a promise that any HTML export will produce a finished accessible document. Decide what the document is for, which source structure it should preserve, and how the exported artifact will be reviewed. This page describes a workflow, not a hosted PDF conversion endpoint.
Prepare a document-friendly source
Keep headings, paragraphs, lists, citations, and meaningful images distinct. Define how links should appear in print and which metadata belongs to the document. Avoid embedding essential instructions only inside a background graphic or decorative component.
Inspect the actual export
Review reading order, selectable text, headings, links, image descriptions where applicable, and page breaks in the produced file. A good-looking browser page does not establish that its PDF export works for every reader. Use an appropriate document review process when formal requirements apply.
Its content is complete, references remain usable, headings stay with their sections, and the target reader can navigate it. Keep a representative test document for changes to templates or export tools.
